“Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.”
– Matthew 26:13
An unnamed woman (at least in Matthew’s Gospel) poured out all that she had in worship of Jesus. Some in the room were upset by the offering. But Jesus pronounced a blessing upon her and said, “This that she has done will be told as a memorial to her wherever the gospel is preached.” Two thousand years later His word is still being fulfilled and her story continues to be told.
What an awesome display of worship!
What do you have to give as worship to the Lord today. One this is certain, He won’t think it a waste.
