Mark 6
Devotional
Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.
– Mark 6:5-6
Among those who (presumably) knew Him, in His home country of Nazareth, Jesus could do no mighty work there, apparently because of their unbelief. It is sobering to think that my lack of trust in Jesus may be the very thing that hinders His effective power in me today.
“Lord I believe, help my unbelief!”
