John 3 – The Listening Plan

“He must increase, but I must decrease.

– John 3:30

John 3, like John 1, is another chapter that feels wrong to gloss over, but such is the nature of my devotion through the Scriptures. I love this passage. The nighttime visit with Nicodemus is one of the most profound passages of the Bible. Not to mention, John 3 presents one of the greatest (and most translated) verses of the Bible (v. 16 of course). I could certainly go on and on about chapter 3, but I’ll simply zero in on one of it’s shortest verses.

There is so much applicable truth in these 7 words!

“God, help me to decrease as you become greater and shine brighter in and through my life!”
