On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

The grand themes of John continue. Jesus presented living water to the Samaritan woman in Chapter 4. He presented the bread of life in Chapter 6. Now He presents living water again in Chapter 7. How do you eat and drink the living water and bread of life? Both here and in John 6:35 Jesus said, “he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”
