Acts 15
Devotional
“So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.”
– Acts 15:8-9
Acts 15 presents what is referred to as the “Jerusalem Council.” The Gospel had begun to move with great speed to “the uttermost parts”; just as Jesus had foretold (Acts 1:8). As it did, God began to move in the same way, by His Spirit, as He had when the gospel began to be preached at Jerusalem (Acts 2). The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
Praise God for His great grace!
