Acts 6
Devotional
“Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”
– Acts 6:3-4
I find the qualifications for servants in the early church to be intriguing and insightful. “Seek out men of (1) good reputation, (2) full of the Holy Spirit and (3) full of wisdom.” Those are solid qualifications!
If you want to be a servant who fits the bill, be filled with the Spirit, make wise decisions and make sure that you have a good reputation.
