Devotional
But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
– 1 Timothy 6:11
The Scriptures routinely direct us to “put offs” and “put ons” that we are to observe. With nearly ever “put off” there is a corresponding “put on.” Here it is no different. We should flee (i.e. put off) the love of money, lusts and greed… and we should pursue (i.e. put on) righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and gentleness.
