Philippians 3
Devotional
that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death,
– Philippians 3:10
Jesus said, “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” Paul’s aim was to experience that, the knowledge of Him. Later in Philippians 3 he would write, “one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
This is essential Christianity.
