that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
– Philemon 1:6
Paul’s prayer for Philemon was that He would be come an effective witness of his faith. But is prayer is also instructive. How do we become effective witnesses of our faith? One of the ways is that we acknowledge and share the good things we have received because of Christ Jesus.
You may ask, “What are those good things?” A good place to start to get to know them is in Ephesians 1:1-14.
