Devotional
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
– 1 John 4:7-8
For many, myself included, these are some of the first verses they memorized as children in Church. Of course we memorized them as a song, which to this day still rings in my mind when I read them. But whatever the mode of memorization, these are essentially important truths to harbor deep in our hearts.
“God is love!” That is a truth to be remembered and meditated upon.
