Devotional
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
– James 4:10
Every contact with God recorded in the Bible always results in a humble response (think Moses before the burning bush. Isaiah caught up to heaven). You can humble yourself or you will be humbled! Either way, the response is always ultimately humility. If you lift your self up, you will be humbled, if you humble yourself, He will lift you up.
Far better to humble yourself.
