And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. … And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Earlier this year I read a book called “Imagine Heaven” which compares actual near death experiences (NDE’s) to what the Bible says about death and heaven. One of the amazing things experienced by many who describe near death events is an encounter with a robed and bearded man who holds a book from which they undergo a life review of their works.
The Bible is clear, our works are being recorded in heaven. Thankfully I know that my name is written in the Book of Life. I pray yours is too.
