“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
– Revelation 3:10
Five of the seven churches of Revelation had serious shortcomings and failures, and for them they were rebuked. Only two received commendations from the Lord for their perseverance and faithfulness.
There are no doubt many things that Christ could chastise and rebuke in our churches. But may we, by His grace, be among those who faithfully persevere.
