Devotional
And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”
– Matthew 21:13
It’s easy to point a finger of condemnation at those making merchandise of God’s people in the temple. Sometimes it is far easier to do so than to take a critical look at how well we are making God’s house a house of prayer. I am definitely challenged by this to be far more prayerful in my life.
