When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!
– Matthew 8:10
What was it that caused Jesus to marvel at the Centurion’s faith? The centurion believed in the power of Jesus whether Jesus was present or not. May God strengthen me to trust Him with similar faith when I am confronted with difficulty and trial.
