Mark 12
Devotional
And Jesus answered and said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they marveled at Him.
– Mark 12:17
No matter how many times I read this story, I am always struck by it. His inquisitors were certain they’d found an angle by which they would trip Him. But with tact beyond anything they imagined possible Jesus turned the trick back upon them. And they simply walked away in awe.
