And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.”

– Mark 7:20-22

Man is not a product of society and his environment. Society is a reflection of the fallen nature of the human heart. If society is ever to be reformed, it must begin with an internal transformation by the power of Christ at work in us.
