Devotional
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered and said, “The Christ of God.”
– Luke 9:20
Both 2,000 years ago and today, there are varied views concerning the identity of Jesus. But Peter declared boldly, “Jesus, you are the Anointed Son of God.” It is upon this bold, Spirit inspired declaration that the Church of Jesus Christ is established. This is the foundational and fundamental truth of the Church.
