So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this Man was the Son of God!”
– Mark 15:39
No doubt the centurion had presided over his share of executions. He’d watched dozens, if not hundreds of individuals be tried, convicted, beaten and crucified. But this one was clearly different, and the difference had a significant impact.
People are watching you and I. They notice when our patterns and responses do not match the norm.
