But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place.

It is completely shocking that this formerly Infirmed man did not know who it was who had healed him. Is it possible that he never even looked at Jesus? Is it possible that he was so fixated upon the waters of the pool of Bethesda, and the potential healing he might receive there, that he never once shifted his gaze to look upon Jesus?
I wonder how many people remain stuck because they’re never able to shift their focus to Jesus?
