2 Corinthians 3

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

– 2 Corinthians 3:5-6

With all sincerity we must recognize and confess our insufficiency apart from Christ’s enabling power to truly be useful to Him and His kingdom. Apart from Him we can do nothing. Only “God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:8).
