These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
– 2 Peter 2:17
The false prophet is called a “well without water.” They’re essentially good for nothing. Clouds thrown around by a storm … they seem to be something great, but in the end are nothing really at all. Which is why it is so important that they are identified and rejected.
