Then I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

The words of the prophecy of Revelation are truly bitter sweet. Sweet in that they reveal the majesty of Christ in all His glory. Bitter in that they reveal His judgment that will one day come upon all unrighteousness and ungodliness.
