John 6 – The Listening Plan

But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

– John 6:68-69

There is no other source for the words of eternal life. Isaiah prophesied of Christ that He is the “everlasting Father.” Which means that Jesus is the source and origin of all things that will be everlasting and eternal. He is the living water; the bread of life; the way the truth and the life, and there is salvation in no other name. So, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”
