John 19 – The Listening Plan

Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.

– John 19:27

It is striking to me that among the sayings of Christ on the cross is this one, which reveals that among the many things that were upon His mind as He died in my place and yours, was the welfare of his mother. With Mother’s day just a couple weeks away, it’s at least worth consideration.
