Acts 28
Devotional
Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.
— Acts 28:30-31
Several years prior to this Paul was under threat from a band of assassins that had bound themselves under oath to take his life. Things looked rather bleak, but God’s word to him then was, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.”
When God speaks, He will make good on His word and promise.
