For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.

– Romans 15:4

Some Christians rarely, if ever, venture into the Old Testament Scriptures. By failing to do so they miss out on deep riches of God’s grace and revelation. The things written before (i.e. the Old Testament) were written for our learning and comfort. In the writings of the Old Testament are found rich wells of hope. Don’t miss what God has made available to you therein.
