But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another;

– 1 Thessalonians 4:9

God is at work in us, by His Spirit, and His word, to teach us to love one another. We do not need another brother, or sister, or pastor to tell us to do so. We do not need a course to teach us to do so. God by His Spirit is calling us to do so. Therefore, we ought to love one another.
