Philippians 2 – The Listening Plan

Devotional

… work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

– Philippians 2:12-13

This is a fitting passage for Labor Day. The work that God has called you and I to labor in is the working out of the salvation that He has worked into us. By His grace, we’ve been saved, through faith. So that we can be saved unto Good works (Ephesians 2:8-10). What then should we (as Christians) be committed to? The walking and working out what God has accomplished in us.

Salvation should be evident in the way you and I live.
