Revelation 20 – The Listening Plan

Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

– Revelation 20:14-15

It has been said that “those who are born once will die twice,” and “those that are born twice will die once.” Revelation 20:14-15 are keys to solving this riddle.

Jesus said, “You must be born again” or you “cannot see the kingdom of God.” Thus the one that is born of flesh, and born again by the Spirit, will only die once, and not taste the second death. But those that are not born anew by the Spirit of God, will not only die a physical death, but at the judgment, they will die a second time in “the lake of fire.”
