I love the New Year! Yes, it’s something of an arbitrary marker, on a human invention, but I still like it. I like it because it always encourages me to take stock of the last 365 days, and look forward to the next. So, as we stand here at the beginning of 2019, and the beginning of the New Testament, I challenge you to take stock and set a goal.
How did you do spending time in the Scriptures in 2018? I’m sure, if you’re honest, that you’re probably like me, and could do better. So, here’s your chance! I want to encourage you to set a goal to spend at least 15 minutes a day in the Scriptures this year. Set a goal to begin each morning in prayer, and in the Word. I promise you, your life will be affected, for the better.
