Matthew 10
Devotional
These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.
– Matthew 10:5
At the close of chapter 9, Jesus said to His disciples, “Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” What they didn’t realize was that in praying for laborers, they were praying for themselves. It is important for use to recognize that—many times—when the Lord impresses a prayer need upon our hearts, He is doing so to move us into the work He’s impressed us to pray for.
Be ready, God has a purpose and plan for your day!
