but He said to them, “I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.”

– Luke 4:43

I think it is important to note carefully the purpose statements of Jesus, for His purpose informs our’s. Jesus said, “I must preach the Kingdom of God … because for this purpose I have been sent.”

There are a lot of things that we think are important, but if giving forth the good news of Christ isn’t in our top-10, then perhaps we need a realignment.
