“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.”

– Luke 6:27-28

The teachings of Jesus can be very challenging. This is one of the most challenging commands of Christ. We don’t generally have that much a of a problem with the command to “love our neighbor.” But “love your enemies!” That is difficult. But Jesus loved us when we were dead in trespasses and sins. And He demonstrated that love for us in the most powerful way.
