John 4 – The Listening Plan

Devotional

“If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

– John 4:10

Jesus reveals to the woman at the well in Samaria that she was ignorant of two things, (1) the gift of God, and (2) His true identity. The remainder of their conversation was Jesus leading her to a right understanding of the nature of the gift, and the Giver.
