But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place.

– John 5:13

This has always fascinated me. The lame man had waited for a healing at the pool of Bethesda for a very long time. And now, he is miraculously healed, and he has no idea who healed him. It’s hard to imagine that he could be healed and not notice who it was who healed him. Perhaps he was so focused upon the pool, waiting for the movement of the water, that he missed the Man who touched him with healing power.

Be careful that you do not miss Jesus, because you are too focused on something else, today.
