Acts 14
Devotional
Then Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there; and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.
– Acts 14:19
More than a decade before this, Paul (then Saul) had presided over the stoning death of Stephen. Now he was on the receiving end. It is truly amazing to consider the transformation that took place in his life to bring him to this point. He had been one of the chief persecutors of the church, and now he was one its chief preachers. And now the persecutor, turned preacher, had become the persecuted.
