Romans 1 – The Listening Plan

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

– Romans 1:16

It seems obvious that this would be the most logical verse to chose for Romans 1. It’s clearly an important key verse for the Book, and both a reminder and challenge to us, today.

Are you ashamed of the Gospel? Are you afraid or embarrassed to speak up and share it? Does the thought of proclaiming it cause you anxiety? If so, I want to encourage you to pray for boldness. That’s what the early followers of Jesus did. And as they did, God answered by providing supernatural power by His Spirit.
