But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

– 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

As a follower of Jesus, committed to His commission and Kingdom, we need to recognize that we are engaged in a very real spiritual battle. The enemy—the god of this age—is at work in the world. And “though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.” We must therefore engage I this battle the mighty armor and weapons given us by God.
