1 Timothy 5

“Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine.”
– Timothy 5:17
This is as much an exhortation to elders as it is to the church. Those in overseeing positions as elders are to rule and lead well. They should endeavor to lead in such a way that God would be honored, and that they would be worthy of double honor.
