But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
– Hebrews 11:6
We are presented with strong wording when we read that it is impossible to be pleasing to God apart from faith. Faith is essential for salvation, and it is necessary for walking with God. It will be evidenced in my life by my dependence upon the Lord in the circumstances of life. The faithful follower will believe that God is, and trust that He rewards those who faithfully seek Him.
