But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”
– Revelation 5:5
There are a lot of things in this broken, fallen world that might cause our weeping. But in our weeping we should always bear in mind that our experiences now are not eternal. They are not the end of the story. The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed. Therefore, do not weep! There is hope!
